Anglican links

The Anglican Communion Office provides the central administration for the worldwide Anglican Communion. The Communion consists of 38 autonomous Provinces, each in a specified geographical area, which are bound together in bonds of fellowship and, to a large extent, interchangability of ministers. One of the services the Office provides is that of circulating news briefings through the Anglican Communion News Service

Ecumenical links

The various Christian churches in Bedford link with each other in a variety of ways. Under the All Bedford Churches Together umbrella there are four main ecumenical groupings, each covering a variety of Christian traditions. Although St Martin's is on the edge of town its most convenient link is with the Central Bedford Churches grouping.

Prayer Resources

St Martin's is in the Borough of Bedford. This is part of the historic County of Bedfordshire. Since April 2009 the County no longer exists as a local authority as all of its functions are carried out by the three unitary authorities of Bedford, Central Bedfordshire and Luton which cooperate in the performance of certain services for the whole county.
